Mr. David Cruz Jr.
His previous job experience was to handle the administration and management of a full range of occupational safety and health program for the U.S. Navy Support Facility, Diego Garcia. He was concurrently designated as the Command's Explosives Safety Officer and served as Confined Space Program Manager, Respiratory Protection Program Manager, and Asbestos Program Coordinator. Aside from this, he was responsible for the implementation of accepted and standard health regulations, practices, procedures and techniques. He served also as special assistant and technical advisor to the Commanding Officer in all matters relating to occupational safety and health, explosives/ordnance operations, facility inspections, hazard abatement, hazardous material control and general safety program. Responsible for developing and promoting a comprehensive mishap preventative program. Fully trained to provide guidance to all activity organizational elements and levels of supervision covering the technical aspects of safety, principles of hazard recognition and control, and the application of these principles as they relate to the employees and the workplace.

In addition to his work experience in Safety, he continually finds opportunities for self-development by attending conferences and acquiring professional trainings effectively execute the NAVOSH programs on NAVSUPPFAC Diego Garcia. The knowledge and experience gained in these forums has continuously raised the level of his safety awareness which is passed to the island population. This contributed to the achievement of comprehensive safety and occupational health objectives that have become the key factor to the success of the Command's safety program.

An appreciable percentage of current tenants are home health and caregiving agency that might need medical supply and marketing services. The business has been able to rent a space that can fit into the kind of medical supply and marketing services that we intend launching and the facility is located in a corner piece property with a parking area.

Mr David Cruz is a retired Navy Occupational Safety and Health (NAVOSH) Manager/Safety Department Head and Explosives Safety Officer with a solid 25 years of experience in the administration and management of a full range of occupational safety and health program for the US Navy Support Facility in Diego Garcia. He has a complete training and a consistent recipient of superior performance award.
